About
Eaglemont Tennis Club has built a reputation as being one of the strongest tennis clubs in Melbourne with fantastic facilities and a friendly, progressive committee. We are dedicated to the game of tennis and the idea of ensuring everyone benefits from joining our club. With over 400 members, the club offers an array of programs and competitions for players of any standard and age.

OUR HISTORY
Eaglemont Tennis Club is one of the most established tennis clubs in Melbourne with a rich tennis history.
The club originally started in Eaglemont with two courts and subsequently moved to its current location off The Boulevard in East Ivanhoe in 1960. The current clubhouse was designed and built in 1960 and now has 10 courts (6 en-tou-cas) with 8 under lights.

Eaglemont TC is one of the largest tennis facilities in Banyule with an extensive clubhouse, large open grounds, a modern viewing deck and BBQ (completed in 2021) and accessible toilets and showers.

We also offer competition opportunities for our members, including Eastern Region Junior Competition, Mens, Womens and Mixed Night competition, Tennis Victoria Open Pennant competition, and our own social doubles competition.

The club also offers many learning opportunities to play the game for juniors and adults through its club Coach Shane Scrutton, who has the been the Head Coach of Yarra Tennis Coaching at Eaglemont Tennis Club since 2002.
